I don’t know about you, but this time of year always feels really busy and rushed. And although there are moments of joy throughout this season, there’s also some moments that don’t feel as joyful. Hello, holiday shopping.
So, in between the busy-ness of this season, I hope you get some time to celebrate the tiny things. At the end of the day these are often the things that matter the most and maybe that is what you need this week instead of something big. And is there someone that you know who is in need of a tiny boost?
Something to (not) think about this week 💡
Are you an overthinker? If you are and have a couple of hours to spare I would recommend listening to Don’t Believe Everything you Think. It’s a short listen and it may make you realize something important.

Something to do this week
Last weekend I went to watch Wicked with my ten-year old daughter. I was a bit worried that a 2 hour and 40 minute movie would be too much for her. But in the end she loved the movie. The storytelling held her attention.
So, here’s something to think about:
They say that peoples’ attention spans are short and that’s why you need to create bite-size content. But maybe it has nothing to do with attention spans…maybe it has something more to do with us creating content or stories that don’t hook people in when it’s longer.
So, here’s my challenge for you this week.
Imagine you are riding an elevator with someone for 30 seconds. How would you describe what you do? Now, imagine you have 5 minutes with the same person. How would you change your story to hook the person in? For the 30 second version what parts of the story aren’t important to include?
